Why MYA is slow...

You read stories like this one, and you realise that Yar'Adua has had to unravel all the mess of the previous administration before he can do anything else. Paying the Chinese an extra US$6bn plus throwing in a few choice oil blocks is not the way to build a rail infrastructure in Africa..

But surely, while he's busy unraveling obasanjo's mess, he could start work on other projects? The nation is nearly comatose, if it takes him another 6 years to unravel the mess, does this mean the nation will come to a standstill? I just don't get it!

Oh my gosh 5.8 bn? Wtf? Why is everyone so eager to do business with China these days ?They could have opened the opportunity up to the 21 other companies that expressed interest and they would not pay has much or have to throw in oil blocks. That will even open doors for "incentives" from lobbyists. Our leaders are stupid and greedy I don't know which is sadder.
