Spent the past week in Accra. Here is a shot of the Scott House (built by Kenneth Scott). Its testimony to the best of African modernism and the optimism of the 1960s. We need to recreate something of that spirit and build exhilarating spaces in West Africa again.

What a lovely picture of Scott House. I spent some of my teenage years there with the late Kenneth Scott and his widow, Therese. Their daughter was and is still my best friend. Therese Scott still lives there incidentally. Did you get to meet her? And does she know you plan on doing a documentary on Kenneth Scott's work? Sure she would be thrilled.
Wow.....what a great house...... I saw that Scott house when I traveled to Accra by Cheap Flights to Accra ..........
