The graffiti mecca of London

The Brick Lane/Spitalfields area of East London has some of the best street art in the capital. I spent a few days wandering the area recently. The now globally renowned Banksy was one of those who started it all off with his famous stencil pieces. If ever you get the chance, check out the revamped Spitalfields market area, and then wander down to Grimsby Street off of Brick Lane to admire the artistic reclamation of public space from the likes of Banksy, Discreet and co.
