End of the line, Kano

The railway line from the East arrives in Kano. Apparently, there is one train a day, and the journey takes 4 1/2 hours. A photojournalistic trip for somebody?

Thanks for taking us along with you on your trip! :) And glad you got back safe, even though that incident was close.

beautiful photos--makes me miss Kano. There is a very beautifully shot short film "Sorrowful Joy," directed by Mustapha Adamu Indabawa in which this end-of line railroad plays an important part. The film was sponsored by the Reel Dialogues project through the British Council, and it's quite worth the watch if any of your British Council buddies could help you get it.
